The pocket size AD128 Datalogger records up to 24 sensor inputs simultaneously against a timer interval variable from 0.01 seconds
to 99 minutes. The unit accepts
8 analog and 16 digital 0/5 volt inputs. It works unattended up to one month on a single 9 volt battery and stores up to 130,000 data points, capturing important detail without the need for a human observer.
The included Configuration/Analysis Software is an integral part of the AD128 system. Logging parameters (sample interval, run time, active channels) are configured with this Microsoft Windows based application software and then sent to the AD128 through the PC's serial port.
After configured, the logger may be disconnected from the PC and operated in the stand-alone mode. A Start/Stop button on the datalogger begins and ends the data collection process. When logging is completed the datalogger is again connected to the PC's serial port, through which data may be transferred from the device to the PC. The Configuration/Analysis software receives and automatically displays data in a spreadsheet for easy viewing. From the spread sheet, data can be copied to the Windows clipboard or exported to a file to be brought into other programs. The software also provides the ability to view and print a graphic representation of the data. Software features include:
